Cebu City | 21 November 2009 | November 5 was a memorable day for the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as it was the day that the statue of Angel Moroni (Mo-rone-eye) was installed at the highest spire of their Cebu Philippines Temple in Lahug.
Keith R. Edwards, the Philippines Area President, said the installation of the 3.25-meter statue of Angel Moroni, which is made of fiberglass and is covered by a layer of gold leaf, indicates that the temple is nearing completion.
