And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them (1 Nephi 3:7).

My family and I became members of the Church because of missionary work. What Nephi said motivates me to prepare to become a future missionary. I want to preach the gospel, baptize people, and teach them to do all things that the Lord has commanded us. Attending Church meetings and passing the sacrament help strengthen my faith.  I know that our Heavenly Father will help us be effective missionaries. If we have the desire to share the gospel we should pray for guidance, and He will help us find the way to share the gospel with those around us.
